Participants will expand their creative knowledge by partaking in different arts and crafts each week to two weeks. Varying materials and practices will be used, including collage, paintings, pastels, etc. Activities and projects may also reflect the seasons and general holiday themes.

Design and create three-dimensional buildings from cardboard, paper, fabric, and other materials. Be inspired by ancient and modern structures. Projects may include an interpretation of a Mongolian yurt, Native American longhouse, medieval castle, Taj Mahal, or a scale model art museum.

Travel the world through food in this fun class where we'll cook delicious dinners from a different country every week! Mexico, Italy, China, Greece, the USA, India and more!

This is your chance to get messy while being creative! We'll make three-dimensional animals and objects using this centuries-old art technique, in which we'll transform newspaper and paste into just about anything! Bring an idea and we'll figure out how to make it.

For ages 5-8
Kids ages 5-8 will learn the basics of handbuilding and will be encouraged to let their creativity flow in this fun class. Each week, kids will build and paint their creations and learn about the firing process of clay!

For ages 8 and UP
Students will gain foundational experience in handling clay, sculpture, glazing and introduction to using a potter’s wheel.

Get ready to “travel” to different regions, we'll bake and cook up some of your favorites and explore new recipes in this class. Some examples might be; Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, Southern Fried Chicken, Tacos, Strudels, Cannoli’s, we’ll see where our Road Trip takes us!!

Kids will learn the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel! Students will learn how to make their own pieces, along with learning how to glaze pieces. The firing process of clay will also be discussed in this fun and creative clay class!
